Modern Vintage – What’s That?!

During my recent visit to Australia (of all places) I came upon a wonderful  “meaty” book – French Flair: Modern Vintage Interiors (published by Flammarion) – check it out. I snapped it up knowing right away that this book would appeal to my daughter Michelle who is in love with this style and who does a wonderful job of incorporating it into her home. Experimenting – towards learning

  This is the beginning of my writing a weekly blog – let’s see how this goes! Back in the depths of 2012 I said that I would write a bit about experimentation in design. I think that this is a very important component of all design. When painting, decorating or creating anything outright copying is just not where it’s at for me. Exhibition of my paintings November 3, 2012

I am busy painting in my usual fashion – basically ongoing experiments – in preparation for an exhibition that I am having here on Saturday November 3 . The paintings are my exploration of the world around us, most notably the natural world. But I am also looking at how we influence our natural surroundings. The Art of Doing

Welcome to my blog page! My goal is to share with you my passion for art and for interior decorating. This first blog is for each and every one of us who has “ideas”.
