John Rakos at the Canadian Mint

John has been contracted to deliver two Project Management courses for the Research and Development group at the Canadian Mint. This involves interviewing the Project Managers for their needs, customizing the topic list, developing a custom course, and presenting the courses in Ottawa and Winnipeg.
It is a big challenge to do project management in a research and development environment. How do you estimate? How long will it take do to all the research? How many experiments? What if we discover something during the project that doubles our difficulty and therefore the schedule (and cost)?
Mr. Rakos has been involved in R&D projects all of his life, even at the moment at the University of Ottawa, so hopefully he can do justice to this project.
